Schoodic Penninsula

Day 13: Downeast Maine (Day 4)
Route: Frenchman Bay Retreat - Schoodic Penninsula - Blunts Pond - Frenchman Bay Retreat
Distance Traveled: 66 miles

Today we decided to head over to the other side of Acadia...The Schoodic Penninsula.
I think she is trying to catch butterflies :)

What's this?

A view of the Schoodic Penninsula

Our little climber...

Taking in the view...

We found what seemed to be a rarely used "road" up to the highest peak on this part of the park....Nice view!

Timer shot of just Greg & Ashley because...

both girls fell asleep on the VERY bumpy ride up :)
We decided we needed to refuel...so we stopped for dinner :)

Lily was excited for Fish 'n Chips

Mommy's mussels....yum!

Emma thought so too...she ate 6 of them :)

They should really put mussels on the kids menu!
Then, a stop by the pond for an evening swim...
