From Sea to Shore

Day 12: Downeast, ME (Day 3)
Route: Frenchman Bay Retreat - Southwest Harbor - Great Cranberry Island - Acadia Nat'l Park - Bar Harbor, ME - Acadia Nat'l Park - Frenchman Bay Retreat

We started the day with a 3 hour tour on a lobster boat :)

The boat was captained by David, the owner of the place we were staying.

Then back to Acadia...

Then we stopped in Bar Harbor for some dinner, shopping, and dessert.

What's better than a lobster with ice cream?

We noticed the beautiful sunset on the way back to the house and decided to drive up Cadillac Mountain in Acadia to enjoy the view...

Today's Activities: A trip out to sea, Spotting Osprey, dolphins (they were all too quick for the camera :), lighthouses, lobstermen, buoys, seals, and more, A stop for lunch and sea glass hunting at Great Cranberry Island, A quick ice cream break, More climbing at a cobblestone beach in Acadia, A stroll around picturesque Jordon Pond, A stop in Bar Harbor for dinner, shopping, and dessert, A beautiful sunset view from Cadillac Mountain.
Another great day in Maine!
